A Social Intervention

When you think of aging, you think of increasing medical intervention. Whether your first thought is about medications or a horrifying nursing home story, you've only skimmed the surface of aging. There is so much more to learn, to see, to enjoy.

Have you heard the saying, "We are born terminal"? Well, it's true. It starts on our 0 birthday... aging. You know, two year olds think big brother is ooollllddd. Big brother thinks Dad is really old (and, like, stupid - insert eyeroll). We wont talk about how ancient grandpa is.

If you stop to really think.. both dad and grandpa have some age on them, but they are far from done. Here at CTandM we prefer to think about generations in chapters. Dad should think about planning in his chapter. Taking care of his health, his wealth, and his unforseens (paperwork, of course). Grandpa has already done these things, so what is he to do?

Should grandpas everywhere sit in a rocking chair, in their blue plaid shirt, sipping coffee all day? He does read the paper at 5am, but what about the rest of the day?

This is where we come in. Our team stands ready to Socially Intervene in the lives of our clients.
We can guide the process of aging, but there is something to be said for what we can take away.

Loneliness.Depression.Anxiety.Stagnation.Abandonment.Insecurity.Mistreatment.

These are all dirty words in aging that effect everything from blood pressure, to walking gate.
So why not get rid of them? We can help!
